My downfall

My downfall is chocolate and whiskey. Last night a friend of ours was over visiting (hadn't seen him in ages) and we ended up pigging out. I had a double chocolate muffin, an almond slice (180 cals!! It was TINY!! WTF??), a whiskey, and earlier in the day a KFC.

Over 1300 calories of pure junk. So yeah, that was good. I totalled 1800 for the whole day, which is very high for me, but I can safely say I haven't eaten anywhere near as much as that in a long time.

Today was a better day for definite (my total intake was about 1300 cals), no junk (though I had a big dinner) and went to a boxercise class at the gym. It was so tough! I'll feel it tomorrow, that's for sure. I burned about 600 calories, and that's being conservative.

  1. Sounds like a good day! You have slip ups and then pro-actively counteract with exercise. I have slip ups and sleep. Or eat more...

    1. Lol you made me smile! The boxercise thing was a bit last minute tbh, I wasn't going to work out at all but a friend of mine text me that afternoon asking if I'd fancy going so I thought "that's it, the universe wants me exercise" so I went.

      But I feel great now (apart from the muscle pain!) so it's definitely worth it.

      Usually when I have slip ups I end up eating more too lol but I've been better recently (since starting this blog actually, so thanks for reading :) it helps to keep me motivated! Xx
